Changing up an interior can have a huge impact on people’s mood and mental-wellbeing.
Improving mental wellbeing can be done by using certain colour schemes and themes to create the right ambiance in the room. This blog will instruct you on how to create a calming interior space theme by theme. First, we will show you two calming colour schemes and then one theme using our very own wallpaper.
We all lead busy lives and have a lot on our minds with the COVID-19 pandemic going on around us. Therefore, it is important to keep our living space relaxing and inviting so that we can use it to wind down and de-stress as much as possible.
Furthermore, as more of us are currently working at home and not going into the office, we are spending a lot more time at home, and so it is more important than ever to create a tranquil atmosphere in our interiors. More and more of us are recognising the importance of having an aesthetically pleasing interior space as we have more time to actually process how our homes look and make us feel. Before, home was just a place to come back to in the evenings and weekends, but now it is the place we work, study, work-out and do just about everything else. Even as lockdown is slowly easing, it is predicted that many of us will not want to give up the option to work from home. In support of this, some employers for example Facebook, have said that they are allowing their employees to work from home after the pandemic and have told the BBC that working from home ‘is the future’ and that some employees have been ‘thriving’. This means that some of us may continue to spend more time than before the pandemic at home as we may have permanently adapted to spending more time at home. This means that upgrading your living space will not just be beneficial for lockdown, but will also be worthwhile long-term.
What works well?
