Water Based Wallpaper for an Eco-Friendly Choice

They now use a new raw material known as DINCH for all their phthalates-free wallpapers. This softening agent has been proven highly effective, whilst meeting the strict requirements of EU Directive 2005/84/EC.

The wallpaper production process is designed with the environment in mind. Erismann exclusively use water-based inks, paints and pastes which are not only safer but also minimize harmful emissions. Any residual ink is carefully collected and fed back into the production cycle, reducing waste and maximizing efficiency.

Additionally, the residual heat from their wallpaper drying system is harnessed to heat all company buildings, further reducing our environmental footprint. To complete the sustainability loop, their production machines operate on recovered energy, helping to conserve resources and lower overall energy consumption.
