The Strawberry Thief design by William Morris at Home is one of Morris' most-loved patterns which creates a warm and inviting atmosphere in any space. The design was inspired by a cheeky, fruit-thieving bird Morris spotted under his strawberry nets in his garden, featuring birds, strawberry plants and garden flowers in tones of rose, greys and white with a contrasting charcoal grey backdrop, set on a smooth matte paper. The original pattern took several days to print using hand-carved woodblocks to build up the different colours. This wallpaper benefits from a paste the wall application making it super easy to apply, durable and easy to remove at a later date.
